We celebrated our five-year anniversary here and were blown away from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, the food was exceptional, and the harpist’s music set the perfect romantic tone all evening. It truly felt like a fairytale. Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny.

It seems like opinions about Disney’s Michelin star restaurant are split between the Disney die-hards who can only see it as magic and those who find the place overpriced for what it offers. As someone who finds a restaurant less appealing if visiting it requires me to brave the crowds and chaos of Orlando theme park land, please hear me when I say that this restaurant is awesome. After waking up at 5:55am to unsuccessfully attempt to snag a reservation, we signed up for a free MouseDining account and—this is where the magic comes in—happened to score a reservation for the Queen Victoria room. One of our servers mentioned that calling and asking to be placed on the waitlist can be a good way to do it, but patience is required either way. Arriving at the Grand Floridian, we had to wait in a line of cars to get through the security gate. This process took about 5 minutes. Security asked for a driver’s license and last name on the reservation before waving us on to the hotel valet. From there, the restaurant can be accessed on the second floor, down a hallway and to the left of the check in kiosk for another dining place. We were greeted by name and welcomed into the dining room and guided to our table. They had a small ottoman/stool set up which was super convenient for setting down a purse, sweater, etc. Such a nice touch! The seats were incredibly comfortable and the wallpaper is this beautiful, cushiony fabric with intricate details that helped to dampen some of the sound. We were fortunate to have Jenna and James taking care of us, with visits from Maître d’hôtel Israel Pérez and other team members. The hospitality they extended to us was really incredible. From describing each dish or zero proof drink to answering questions with proud enthusiasm to the perfect balance of checking in on us and being there when we needed while otherwise giving us space to enjoy things, there’s really nothing more I could ask for. Having tried a few fine dining tasting menus in Orlando, one thing that stands out about the dining experience (other than a live harpist!!) in the Queen Victoria room at Victoria & Albert’s is the portion sizes. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so full after a chef’s tasting menu, which may help to explain the price point beyond the “Disney tax,” so to speak. Each course offered more than just a bite or two; you get to really savor the dishes for a few minutes before hitting the bottom of the bowl. Everything was prepared and plated with precision and skill. The creativity of each course stands out as well, with excellent zero proof pairings that enhance the flavor and complement everything from ingredients to colors and textures. Everything tasted fantastic, and they do such a great job of pacing the courses so that you get plenty of time to enjoy without feeling like you’re wondering when the next dish will arrive. While our budget and (the near Olympic sport of securing reservations) really doesn’t allow us to visit more than like once a year, this is definitely somewhere I’d be thrilled to go to again in the future. Victoria & Albert’s deserves 2 Michelin stars for sure, and it’s no wonder they’ve been a AAA five diamond restaurant for so long. We went in with tempered expectations based on other reviews and just the Disney vibe that isn’t quite our thing, but we left feeling like our expectations had been far exceeded, in a bit more of a joyful Disney spirit than we’d probably care to admit ;)

This isn’t just a dining experience — it’s a masterclass in detail and care. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, every element is intentional and extraordinary. With every bite, you feel like you’ve never tasted anything more delicious. Jenna, Craig, Joe, Joseph, Roda, Elizabeth… thank you.

Totally worth their 1 Michelin star, should have #2 soon. Food was perfect, service was impeccable, and they even played Let It Go on the harp for my daughter. Excellent fine dining experience. And yes, wear a dinner jacket, it fancy!

A once in a lifetime experience, the Victoria & Albert’s dining experience is exquisite. Located in the Grand Floridian Hotel, it is proclaimed the culinary crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort. Reservations are required and difficult to come across. While visiting the Orlando Resorts, we called to inquire about any last minute cancellations and much to our excitement, they did. Do come prepared as they enforce a semi-formal/formal dress code. Guests 10 years and older are welcome. The most expensive restaurant at WDW, the prix-fixe menu begins at $295.00 per Guest. Wine pairings start at $155.00 per Guest. The dining room is intimate and welcoming, so quaint you can practically see every table from your own. It exudes elegance with the lavish decor and superb wait staff. We enjoyed seven savory dishes, one of those being an added Miyazaki beef. This incredible cut of beef is sold by the two-ounce portion, and is worth every penny. Our meal was followed by four desserts, as well as a table-side siphon coffee maker, giving us a great show and a delicious cup of fresh coffee. The overall experience left me feeling like Magical Royalty.

What an experience. I was able to snag a reservation by calling 60 days out in the Queen Victoria Room. We arrived a little early so we sat down right outside the restaurant in this little lounge area.someone came out and greeted us and escorted us to the room. Only a limited number of tables but the door remained open where there was a harp player and music drifted softly into the room. A team dedicated to the room itself introduced themselves and provided outstanding service throughout the meal. We were provided a personalized menu and I enjoyed every aspect of this meal. The wine pairing was definitely worth it and you are served a plentiful amount. I really don't think there was anything I didn't enjoy and was pretty full by the end of it. Everything was cooked beautifully. I enjoyed the Tooth fish and the Scallops and all the meat courses were so tender and flavorful. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. If you can get a reservation for here, I highly recommend.

Couldn’t have anything better to say about my experience. Absolutely amazing food with service to match. Would 5 out of 5 suggest if you can get a reservation. Worth every dollar and some

So I just had reservations here two weeks ago. And it was an interesting experience. There were some high points in the meal. Some of the food was exceptional. There were a handful of misses though. The meal and service started off top notch. But there were a few dishes that my wife didn’t enjoy and I noticed, servicer attentiveness went down after the two dishes she only tried but didn’t like went back. The biggest issue? The time. I researched and read that this was a longer meal, of around 3 hours. Our meal, was 4 and half hours and we had them box dessert because it was simply taking too long. Had we not told them we were ready to go, our meal would have been likely over 5 and half hours. The service drop off and the extremely long wait time kind of soured the meal. For the price, I’ve had far better experiences at other Michelin stared restaurants. Overall? The experience was a disappointment.
